I'm happy, because I have lots to do.

I'm not looking forwards to Christmas, particularly. It's stressful and silly.

Ossum. So Sal actually talked to Gremmu about it and turns out Grem wasn't angry at her. He basically said he didn't expect anything more of her, as she was the youngest shaman there (and indeed possibly one of the youngest clanmates, and certainly the least experienced).

She didn't even get headbutted!



...drama isn't cool though. And people making it worse by bitching about each other behind backs makes it even worse. And people confounding the situation through blatant trolling just shows a lack of empathy.

Come on, guys. Give me a hand here.

I could give my point of view of what happened tonight, but I really doubt it would help anything. For my own benefit, however.

Poor Grem, though. He had his mic muted for about half an hour and he didn't even notice. He was just sat there. Talking to himself. Thinking we were ignoring him.

*Gremkarc says we must make it an offering. We are about to offer a goblin fellow we found earlier as a sacrifice when an elf steps forwards and starts mouthing off. He gets frozen. So does Watrus.
*Gremkarc gives the order to kill it.
*Cerk and Naudiz go against this. Naudiz calls repeatedly for us not to kill it whereas Cerk, who is an old shaman, essentially yells at the thing.

Now, what was interesting about this was that Gremkarc then conceded that he'd made the wrong decision about how to deal with the elemental, and refused to punish Naudiz (who asked for it) or Cerk (who didn't) for disobeying orders - Ursala got confused. She didn't understand what was going on, at first - and then she realised Gremkarc had made a mistake.

Then she realised another thing. She would have killed a man and a redeemable elemental because he commanded it. This was out of line with her order of priorities (shaman first, D&T second, Horde third, orc fourth). She was brought up not to question authority, but this was a situation where authority was questioning itself, and she was confused. And she was angry, because Gremkarc told them that he had done badly - and she had done the same as he had, which meant that she had done badly too. Ursala does not like doing badly.

(She kept telling herself she was so upset because she was picking up emotions from the elemental. I know that this is partially true, but that that alone wouldn't have made her angry, that alone wouldn't have made her act as she did, and that alone certainly wouldn't have made her emotionally heightened for so long. She is trying to mitigate guilt.)

There is another question for her now. How does she know when to trust Gremkarc's wisdom and when not to? She finds the very notion that she might even be slightly as wise as he preposterous. (This, in itself, is unwise of her, but she doesn't know this.)

Ursala first apologised to Watrus. It's funny, because when Watrus first began trial for sergeant, she was told to punish a grunt for doing the exact same thing. She was told this by Gremkarc. Now, Ursala was going to say to Watrus "Grem said you should do this so you should do it" - and suddenly realised what she was about to say, and then started crying again.

This is the first time Sala's really cried since she was a teenager, so it's nice. I enjoy character development. And I want to try my hand at DMing adventures within WoW at some point, too, so we'll have a go at that some time maybe! Especially if I get to do it within D&T, natch, 'cos they are forgiving and also just awesome.

My housemistress says I have to be seen to be punished, although she says I do not warrant actual punishment (stable state of mind and all that - I don't actually remember what I did, there are huge chunks of last night missing, including the journal entry and all subsequent comments I made on it). The normal punishment for what I did is suspension.

My housemistress spoke to the girl I did it to. After this, my sister overheard the girl saying "...[I've] got problems? So [does she]! [I'd] better get suspended...". My sister came up to me and was worried that I'd get suspended.

(Bless my sister. (Pageviews wouldn't go amiss either.))

I somehow don't think my housemistress explained enough exactly what the problems are since I know for fact I'm the only one at school that's known to do/have this, but...

...I really do not know what to expect now ??
