Take it from me, it's not really a major change. If you don't have a partner you regularly meet with then being legal won't mean anything, and if you do then chances are you've already done it.

For the record, turning 18 doesn't feel much either, though that may be because I don't drink and hence won't take advantage of being able to do so at a pub.
